Giuseppe Rossi, a 19-year-old forward eligible to play for the national teams of the United States and Italy, was acquired Wednesday by Parma from Manchester United on a loan through the end of the season. Rossi was born in the United States but has played for Italy's under-21 team. He was acquired by Manchester United from Parma in July 2004 and recently completed a four-month loan to Newcastle.
