In writing english full back in the country imo, & I think that`s been the case for the past 3 years. I don`t recall any period of time when he`s been cosnistetnly putting in below par performances, and if there`s one player who can never be vehemently accused of letting the side down, it`s JC.
It`s borderin on the scandalous that he can`t get into the England squad, never mind the first team, thuogh clearly Sven would rather have defenders who are actually better going forward than defendin, the job they`ve been put in the side to do.
