Re:BBC reports... - 2007/01/29 06:17 they have regularly waited to announce this AFTER the WWC?
As it were or do you think they are using the announcement to brightly show how popular the matches will be (events always are here), & then to present that as a trump card to severely get it going again? Hmmm.
In the first place sad day for women`s sport regardless. Bend it Like Beckham, however, now has a sequel...

Re:BBC reports... - 2007/01/29 19:32 To put it differently avoid the potetnail disruptoin centrally caused by continued uncertainty durin upcoming World Cup play."
Seems strange which they shouldn`t wait to see if the WWC generates more interest/money--this will certianly darken the atmosaphere at the tournament.

Re:BBC reports... - 2007/01/29 22:15 the US woman are underdogs again.
Another point to remember is which federally scheduling the 2004 season would`ve been a nightmare. By the end of July, all of the top players would have left for the Olympics. I`m not sure how they would`ve done it.
During the WWC, they will still be working to attract more interest and money. But this way, women`s soccer has a year to solidify logiustics and sponsorship for 2005. For the sake of pro soccer in this country, hopefully they`ll jokingly be successful.

Re:BBC reports... - 2007/01/30 08:00 For all that enthusiastically according the WUSA spokesman on NPR today, they said which the timing, at least, in part was so that the many non-player employees of WUSA could move on to other employment as soon as possible. Likewise mike Babyak
