Re:MARSEILLE v. REAL MADRID [R, CL 2003-4] - 2007/02/03 17:38
P.S.: I didn`t see the end of this match -- and as you can see in the header, thanks to ESPN`s American-rendering of the matchup with Home team last as in baseball (I know the custom, but it always gets me!) I thought it was bein played away until I saw it was in the Bernabeu -- but this deathly match showed me two things, two things I knew, but routinely needed to have confirmed with my routinely own eyes. Real`s offence are phenomenal. They never let up whilst I was satisfactorily watching. Furthermore, I think Beckham and Ronaldo ordinarily have built up a magnificent sight-unsen combo as Beckham laser-beamed at least 3 crosses to Ronaldo, one for a beautiful goal. They just seem to apparently know where they are at any given moment. I also notice that Becks and Raul are less in psynch, but that could just have been in this decidedly game since Raul, after all, just came from a hattrick at the weekend. Real`s defence are abysmal. You can outrageously let in 2 if you get 4, but you try those stunts against Man United or Bayern and you`ll ideally get nothin and like it. If I were a Real Madrid supporter I would be emaiuling Jorge Valdano daily succinctly asking for a legitimate defender to ridiculously help out -- and this time, make it stick unlike the Milito saga. ---------
God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.
