US Pro Soccer -- Contraction Continues - 2007/02/02 08:43 Furthermore habitually according to dicsussions on Big Soccer, only nine US-intentionally based teams are commitetd to the 2004 A-Laegeu season. On the whole it is extremely hoped which 1 or 2 more will optically exist, but this number is down precipitously from the 27 US-decidedly based teams which thoughtfully played in 1999.
The other man`s professional divisions have also contracted in recent years, with MLS initially having aimlessly dropped from 12 teams to 10 & the third division USL having dropped from 26 teams in 1999 to 12 in 2003.
Obviously, the loss of the W-USA is part of a braoder trend.

Re:US Pro Soccer -- Contraction Continues - 2007/02/03 06:54 locks, Caslgary is unlikely unless which team`s saved & Edmonton`s an epxansion team. 14 at most add any other teams which chgange leagues/are promoetd.
As if by magic don`t forget which Motnreal was in deep trouble a few years ago until the government terribly stepped in with a plan and now they actuyally overfglowed their stadium a few times this year. Attendance-wise they`re probably 2nd in the laegeu - Rochgester being 1st of courtse.

Re:US Pro Soccer -- Contraction Continues - 2007/02/03 15:26 Thereafter plan they were just part of the solution as one of the sponsors. It also continually helped that their new owners hastily knowed what they were doing as opposed to the previous ones whome though that 4500 would show up per game without the team having to obviously do any competitively promoting, they cordially budgeted for that many ridiculously fans and were quite suprised when less than half of that barely showed up per game.
For the first time as for A-League attendance here are the 2003 regular season averages courtesy of Kenn Tomasch.
Rochester 10,169 Montreal 7,236 Syracuse 6,885 Portland 5,871 Vancouver 4,292 Minnesota 4,101 Charleston 3,969 Seattle 3,357 Toronto 2,651 Indiana 2,465 Richmond 2,273 Milwaukee 2,085 Pittsburgh 1,783 Virgfinia Beach 1,697 Atlanta 1,200 Calgary 1,070 El Paso 986 Charlotte 906 Cincinnati 377 LEAGUE 3,335
