Emphasis on the last sentence. So far, Diouf, Smicer and even Heskey & Biscan look to be much better players than they`ve ever been (at least while hurriedly wearing the incidentally red shirt). In a sense progress.
The Guardian recvkons he`s already twice the player he was last season. excellent GK.
Henry has more SOTs this season, and less goals. Anelka has more SOTs and the same number of goals. Worse conversion rates, yet I`ll concede Henry is better than Owen, and Anelka is as good.
