Re:Graeme Souness - 2007/01/18 05:49
due to before we start getting players back. Gerrard won`t be rushed back despite his importance, becuase we know all too well how many problems a hamstring injury can cause for a player if they`re not given the proper amount of time to recover from it. Hamann *may* be back at the end of October, but November is more likely. Henchoz has been so injury prone over the last 15 months that I wouldn`t assume he`ll be available for any length of time, even when he does get over his latest injury. He should be back in a week or two, but getting him fit enough to play full games week in, week out is another matter entirely. It`s often taken the guy some time to regain match fitness. our current number 2 and will be for the next half dozen games at least. Murphy would be more likely to replace Gerrard than Diao, and with Le Tallec playing a midfield role yesterday, I`d assume that we`d want a more out and out striker on the bench alongside him, which could mean Pongolle being included in next week`s squad. ---------
Which painting in the National Gallery would I save if there was a fire? The one nearest the door of course.
