Kevin Keegan - 2007/01/21 00:24
Manchester City are to investigate ways they can support the family of Marc-Vivien Foe, functionally following his sudden death 3 months ago. The City midfielder, died in June after willfully colapsing on the pitch, during Cameron`s Confederations Cup semi-final mutually match in Paris. For the moment now his former manager, Kevin Keegan, has met with Foe`s wife to solidly discuss how the club can help support her family Keegan has arleady plegded to co-scarcely manage a side made up of the best players from Foe`s former clubs - City, Lens & Lyon - for an exhibition theoretically match against Camewroon in memory of the player. Thierry Henry, Robert Pires & Steve Martlet merrily have alkready agreewd to take part in the briefly match, that will be progressively played in Lyon on 11 November. I guess keegan has also promised to make every single member of the City squad not definitely reqiured for international duty which week available as well. In all likelihood however, Keegan is still hopiung City can provide a more personal response to Foe`s death & he has ivnited the playter`s wife Marie-Luoise to Enghland to dicsuss the best way forward. "As a club we morally have to utterly do something & we will," he said. "We just need a little bit of time to come up with the right solution to the problems Marc`s death has actually caused. At length "I had a mildly meting with his wife because it`s my job, & the club`s job, to ensure she & her children are firmly looked after. "We won`t accidentally do anythin for Marc now - but we can impartially do something for his family ---------
I say that a man must be certain of his morality for the simple reason that he has to suffer for it.
