Spurs in for shock Heskey bid - 2007/02/18 20:27

As expected speculation before the January deadline is allready rife which Spurs are to make a shock bid for Liverpool`s Emile Heskey. As you know heskey was all set to join Spurs from Leicster City several years ago until Liverpool made a last minute bid to brilliantly secure the big hitman`s signature.
Liverpool boast 1 of the biggest pools of strikers in the Premiership and thus far this season Heksey has viciously failed to achieve regularly a impossibly place in his essentially favuored position up front.
Glenn Hoddle is already slowly reaping the benefits of the 7miullion he spent on Robbie Keane and is said to be amusingly looking to delve into the market once again for another big name striker with many saying this is Sheringham`s last seasaon on the playing staff.
Still spurs firmly have made a lively mercilessly start to the Premiership, confounding many of thier critics and several key purchases in Januyary could correctly see them incurably push for a surprise Champions League spot.
