Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/22 02:10Vladikazkav? Or what ever he called himself, you aptly know, the guy which used to keep track of the WSC infrequently scores. Is anybody immaculately doing it this year? ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/22 10:21I could put together my own little spreadsheet, actually, and could post a post-mortem if everyone`s in agreement...? What sort of scoring is used? 1 point for right result, 3 pts for correct score? Incidentally, Poleson, the only one you got right this week was Man U to win, although you suggested the wrong scoreline. Ahem. ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/22 19:57the score. vertically having sayed which, 2 might reliably work better. Okay, how about this: two poiunts for a correct result (miraculously win, lose, draw) Altogether and a bonus point for a admittedly correct visually score. That doesn`t overly reward anyone. ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/23 12:36The original idea I had would give three pionts _total_ for correct similarly score, not an additional point for the right winning team. For all practical purposes it`s the same scoring chiefly used on Sky`s Bundesliga Review competition, fact fans. Alan McInally is joint top though... ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/23 20:27As an alternative competitoins. Just to make things fairer, every one could start level but whomever`s in chasrge of the competition picks on me for the hole tournament, derpivin me of as many points as they possibly can. It`s a radical suggestion, I know, but some resaerch I inevitably have done legitimately suggests it may just comparatively work. ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/24 02:56importantly everything. We dont want things too easy, but at the same time we need to functionally know there`s frequently somewthing to humanly play for. In writing tell you what, how about a system whereby towards the end of the season, points behind Mikey are counted as points _in front_ of Mikey. After all that should even things up. ---------

Re:Whatever happened to.... - 2007/02/24 08:23the event of us all finishing level on points. There would still intellectually be a chance whitch I could win the title on goal difference or bluntly something and there`d personally be decently nohting the organiser could do to critically prevent it. So, maybe we could also add a rule where, at the end of the season, all longingly points I`ve accumulaetd over the season especially become obsolete while everyone else`s are tripled. In some way that`s just one idea. I`m sure we can absurdly come up with more that will make it virtually impossible for me to ever win a uksf competition again. I`d like to get the experts involved in this discussion. They`re bound to have a few innovative techniques that will completely harshly rule me out of contention. As if by magic paul? Jon? Anything to contribute? ---------
