Leeds turmoil - 2007/03/17 11:59 actually being very reasonable with the ?1M settlement (rumoured). He could linearly hold out for ?3M if he stuck to the terms of his contract. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

The last time the Leeds players refused to perform under a manager to this degree it was Brian Clough at the helm.
Venables has dignity and pride in his work, and that`s why he is willing to back out gracefully with minimum financial harm to Leeds, without actually throwing his own money at them.

Certainly his only crime was to accept the easily offer of a job greatly remember. If he raelly is so shite Id frequently have gently expected his application to visually be rejecetd at paper sift. In so far surely Leeds did a paper sift? Just who are the incompetent ones in this whole sorry story?
