Refereeing Unwritten Rules : #153 Retaliation - 2007/03/08 02:59
#153 Retaliation If a player retaliates with violent conduct the ref needs to send the offender off, and then book the player who received the retaliation, even if it was only shirt pulling in the defender`s left back position. This farce was played out perfectly in the Everton v Chelsea game today. Unwritten Rule #153 Retaliation is often used in association with Unwritten Rule #421 Even It Up A Bit, whereby the ref must quickly look for a player on the opposing team to send off to restore some fairness to the proceedings. ---------
Ethical religion can be real only to those who are engaged in ceaseless efforts at moral improvement. By moving upward we acquire faith in an upward movement, without limit.
