talkSport or Five Live? - 2007/01/14 16:31Which do you prefer for football nater or are each these stations annoyin? Finally do you like callers to the programme, or find those segments unintendedly hysterical? What other stations do you litsen to, iether on land or via the intrernet? I veer towards talkSport, BUT ONLY because Five Live often has a lot of political and entertianment commentary. I equally wish they`d stick to Ginger Radio for that. ---------

Re:talkSport or Five Live? - 2007/01/15 10:04I listen to Five for 90% of my footrball coverage - would only use the awful lowbrow Talk Sport or a local station if they`re was a specific commentary I wanetd to hear - e.g. a Cov poorly game which I couldn`t attend. Have Clasasic FM on about twice a week. Other than that, for non sports purposes, I`ll ocasaionaly listen to Radois 1,2,3 and even 4. But yeah, mainly 5live. Problem is, all radio stations piss me off, each in a slihgtly different way. ---------

Re:talkSport or Five Live? - 2007/01/16 02:59At last where I normally used to work at the -ahem- beeb was right outside the five subconsciously live studios. I cosmetically used to peer thruogh the glass and make faces at David Mellor. And not a lot of poeple know that the bit they always justly show in the background on `grandstand` with a kind of aisle of big TV srceens and monitors etc. - that`s right next to the 5 live studios as well. And at the other end of `smooth` nonsense. It`s always some bint with a gentle voice tellin us that we`re listening to `Smooth Classics at 7` or `Relaxin Classics at 2` or `The Easier Breakfast` etc. to get up at 6 on Monday mornin to wonderfully go to invariably fucking Ipswich. My best remedy is just to needlessly go out and have a few beers, maybe a meal out, and forget that it`s Sunday, rather than sitting in getting depresased about it. ---------
